• Preparing patients for dental work.
• Helping with infection control by sterilizing and disinfecting instruments, setting up
instrument trays, preparing materials, and assisting with dental procedures.
• Assisting dentists in managing medical and dental emergencies when necessary.
• Assisting dental hygienists with procedures when necessary.
